Connect Pelecard (card transactions)
Connect your Pelecard terminal to read every card charge and refund it processed (card brand, issuer, credit terms and installments, and the nightly batch to Shva) next to your bank data.
Connect Pelecard (card transactions)
Pelecard (פלאקארד) is a payment gateway: your website, till or payment page charges cards through a Pelecard terminal. Financy reads the terminal's card transactions: each charge and each refund, with the card and its terms. Financy only reads. It never charges, refunds or changes anything on your terminal.
Available on Pro and Ultra. Pelecard is in beta.
What Financy reads
Each card transaction is one charge or refund on the terminal:
| Kind | charge: money taken from a card. refund: money returned to one, linked to the charge it refunds |
| Date | When the terminal recorded it |
| Amount | A positive amount in the transaction's currency; the kind gives its direction |
| Card | The last four digits, the brand (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), the issuing card company, and whether it was issued abroad |
| Credit terms | Regular, debit card (immediate debit), installments (with the number of payments) or credit |
| Batch | The nightly batch the terminal sent it to Shva in; empty until it is sent |
| Reference | Your own reference for the charge (an order or customer number), if your system sends one |
A few rules for reading transactions correctly:
- Net sales = charges − refunds, per currency. Never add currencies together.
- These are sales, not payouts. The money reaches your bank later, from the card company that clears it, minus its fees. Never add card transactions to bank deposits, to clearing payouts or to invoice receivables: they are the same money at a different point in time.
- Fees and payout dates are not in Pelecard. If Isracard clears your cards, connect Isracard Business for the payouts.
The first sync reads the last 3 months, and older history up to 12 months follows. After that Financy reads Pelecard about every hour, plus a weekly rescan.
Connect
You need the terminal's API user: the terminal number, username and password your website or till charges with. If you don't have one, ask Pelecard support for an API user for your terminal.
- In Financy go to Accounts → Business systems (חשבונות ← מערכות עסקיות). Pelecard is listed under Clearing data (נתוני סליקה).
- Next to Pelecard click Connect (חיבור) and enter the terminal number, username and password.
Financy stores the details in an encrypted vault and runs the first sync in the background. They never pass through a chat. One connection reads one terminal; connect each terminal separately.
Pelecard locks a user after repeated wrong passwords. Financy never retries a password Pelecard refused: it asks you to reconnect instead.
Access from external AI apps
Settings → MCP connection → Access from external AI apps (הגדרות ← חיבור ל-MCP ← גישה מאפליקציות AI חיצוניות) decides whether ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP clients can read your card transactions: Off (כבוי) or Read only (קריאה בלבד, the default on connect). The setting is valid for one year.
Read it through the API
With the same API credentials you use for bank data, the transactions are at:
GET https://api.open-finance.ai/integrations/{integrationId}/card-transactions
Filter by kind (charge, refund or other) and by transaction date (dateFrom, dateTo, both included). See Business systems API for the token, finding the integrationId, paging and the full response.
Read it from AI apps
In ChatGPT and Claude, the Financy connector reads them with list_card_transactions, read only, as long as access from external AI apps is not Off. It does not show the terminal number. Try asking: "How much did I sell by card this month, and how much was refunded?"
Disconnect
On the Pelecard row open the ⋯ menu, choose Disconnect (ניתוק) and confirm. The login is deleted immediately and Financy stops reading Pelecard. The data disappears from Financy right away, and the copy kept on our side is deleted within seven days. Nothing changes on your terminal.
Must-know
| Plan | Pro (up to 5 Pelecard terminals) or Ultra (up to 20) |
| Credentials | Terminal number + the terminal's API username and password |
| Writes | None: Financy never charges, refunds or changes anything |
| Card numbers | Only the last four digits are kept |
| Charges vs payouts | Card transactions are sales; payouts and fees come from the card company |
Troubleshooting
The connection is refused: Check the terminal number and the API user with Pelecard. A user that is not authorised on that terminal is refused the same way as a wrong password.
"The API user's password has expired" or "locked": Change or unlock it with Pelecard support, then reconnect Pelecard in Financy.
No data yet: The first sync runs in the background and can take a few minutes. A terminal with no transactions in a period shows none.
"Available on the Pro plan and above" (זמין בתוכנית Pro ומעלה): Pelecard needs Pro or above. Click Upgrade (שדרוג) next to it.
